Time for a marketing review!
In February of this year we received a contract to develop a website for ANOTHER SURF CAMP, a startup business in Portugal.
The project was interesting as there was no established history. All we were given was the name ANOTHER SURF CAMP. We were asked to develop a website and integrate a real time reservation platform. As management consultants we performed a survey of the different reservation platforms and suggested Siteminder. The client accepted our proposed platform. In the meantime we had started building the website using the Drupal 8 content management system.
We delivered the website within 14 days, as the surf season was about to start, and potential guests were making their reservations. Throughout the season, we made changes to the website to accommodate feedback from the guests.
The Result
In one season our client went from being non-existent to being ranked #4 on Tripadvisor. Our team thinks it is fair to say that our consulting activities were successful.
