Privacy is a fundamental right of every human being
Current governments continuously attempt to erode this most simple and basic right, arguing that it is necessary for society to relinquish their privacy rights in order to protect same society from terrorism.
In spite of the most advanced technology, and staffing in excess of 100,000 employees and contractors, the NSA and similar organizations have not been able to prevent terrorism. Terrorism has existed for thousands of years and fundamentally will continue to exist, regardless of the amount of privacy which is taken from society.
